Nancy Jordan, MCD
Executive Director/Capacity Developer/Success Coach
Nancy Jordan, Executive Director of Pacific Northwest Tribal Lending, brings a wealth of experience, passion, and cultural insight to her role and to every community she serves. Her journey began on her family farm, where the values of hard work, resilience, and connection to the land were first instilled. From there, Nancy’s career flourished as an agricultural commercial lender and appraiser with Farm Credit Service, setting the stage for a lifetime dedicated to financial empowerment and community development.
Her transformative experience as a non-profit executive in economic development deepened her mastery of finance, organizational management, and strategic community building. As co-owner of Sound Wise Studios, Inc., a small family business, Nancy has navigated the full spectrum of entrepreneurial challenges—from the spark of a startup to the complex realities of expansion and contraction—while building capacity and mentoring future leaders along the way.
Nancy’s comprehensive understanding of finance and organizational strategy, combined with her deep cultural awareness, uniquely positions her to mentor and uplift Native entrepreneurs. She is committed to strengthening leadership capacity and fostering environments where community and business thrive. This passion is evident in her upcoming presentation at Native Edge Institutes on Loan Programs and Access to Capital, where she will share insights and inspire new pathways to economic empowerment.
Away from the office, Nancy channels her creativity into music through Sound Wise’s recording studio, nurturing her garden, sewing practical creations, and exploring new places. She is also devoted to creating welcoming spaces for those who provide and support home care, embodying her belief that strong, caring communities are the foundation of lasting success.
Adib Jamshedi
Financial Trainer/Success Coach
"I speak your language: The language of the minority, the owner of poor credit, the one without the plan, the young, old, or middle-aged person. The language of the student or teacher. The language of the fisher folk, the artist, the writer, and the musician. The language of the searcher, the hunter, the discoverer, the inventor, or the dreamer. The language of the novice or expert. I learned this language from you, the entrepreneur. Let’s continue."
Adib has been instrumental in the Lummi Nation community, getting to know the Native American people, learning from them, and teaching them through employment through the Lummi Venture's Plan (for 10+ years) and now with CDFI. He also currently teaches at Northwest Indian College (NWIC), instructing many Native American peoples locally and from afar.
He calls himself the "real Indian," originally from Pakistan. His passions are his family and community. Adib is full of humility and grace, and most of all, he is enjoyable company to be around because of his light-heartedness and humor. He makes all feel welcome.
