Nancy Jordan, MCD
Executive Director/Capacity Developer/Success Coach
Nancy Jordan leads Pacific Northwest Tribal Lending with a rare combination of deep financial expertise, lived entrepreneurial experience, and genuine cultural grounding. Her career spans agricultural commercial lending and appraisal with Farm Credit Services, nonprofit economic development leadership, and co-ownership of Sound Wise Studios, Inc., a trajectory that gives her fluency across the full arc of how capital moves through communities, from individual borrowers to organizational balance sheets.
Her lending background is foundational. Years of agricultural credit work sharpened her ability to evaluate complex assets, underwrite non-traditional enterprises and collateral, and build relationships with borrowers whose financial lives don't fit standard models , precisely the skills that make a Native CDFI effective. That technical foundation is deepened by her experience as a nonprofit executive, where she developed the organizational management, funder relationships, and strategic planning capabilities that sustaining a community lending institution requires.
As a small business co-owner, Nancy has navigated startup, growth, and contraction firsthand. She brings that experience directly to her work mentoring Native entrepreneurs, not as theory, but as someone who has faced the same decisions her borrowers face.
Outside of work, Nancy tends to her garden, is creative at the sewing machine, and nurtures the recording studio at Sound Wise. She is also a committed advocate for those who give and support home care, a reflection of her belief that strong communities are built by the people who show up for each other.
Adib Jamshedi
Financial Trainer/Success Coach
"I speak your language: The language of the minority, the owner of poor credit, the one without the plan, the young, old, or middle-aged person. The language of the student or teacher. The language of the fisher folk, the artist, the writer, and the musician. The language of the searcher, the hunter, the discoverer, the inventor, or the dreamer. The language of the novice or expert. I learned this language from you, the entrepreneur. Let’s continue."
Adib has been instrumental in the Lummi Nation community, getting to know the Native American people, learning from them, and teaching them through employment through the Lummi Venture's Plan (for 10+ years) and now with CDFI. He also currently teaches at Northwest Indian College (NWIC), instructing many Native American peoples locally and from afar.
He calls himself the "real Indian," originally from Pakistan. His passions are his family and community. Adib is full of humility and grace, and most of all, he is enjoyable company to be around because of his light-heartedness and humor. He makes all feel welcome.
Wade Stringfield
Interim Lending Operations Manager
Wade Stringfield brings more than 15 years of experience in small business and SBA lending to Pacific Northwest Tribal Lending. With a background spanning commercial credit underwriting, portfolio management, and lending program development, he has built a reputation for thoughtful, relationship-driven lending that supports long-term success.
Wade took a leave of absence from the PNTL board to develop a comprehensive Lending Procedures Manual, establishing clear, consistent guidance across the full life cycle of a loan. His role has since expanded to include staff training, process improvement, and hands-on support in underwriting and credit analysis. Drawing on his experience as a longtime loan committee member, Wade works to streamline internal processes while strengthening the connection between lending teams and the clients they serve.
His approach centers on creating practical tools and systems that build staff confidence and efficiency—ultimately enhancing the borrower experience and advancing PNTL’s mission of community-focused, values-driven lending.
